PCA Club Racing Community Donations

The Erin Levitas Foundation and the PCA Potomac Club Race team have partnered to raise money to fund the foundation’s work of educating youth and young adults to prevent sexual assault while helping victims heal.

There are many ways to give, and many incentives to give, so please peruse this page prior to making your donation.

ROCK THE SUMMIT Race Weekend

WHEN: September 20-22, 2019

THE FUN: Racers will gather for a weekend of camaraderie, challenge, celebration and community impact.
HOW: In addition to direct donation, there are three ways you may give during the race weekend!

Silent Auction - Opens Friday, September 20th, 2019 closes Saturday evening, Sept. 21 at 6 PM

We are busy gathering Silent Auction items that will be displayed at the ELF Tent in the paddock. Bidding will open at noon on Friday, September 20th, 2019 and close at 6PM on Saturday, September 21st during the Social Hour. Get ready to bid on a variety of items including Porsche Lovers Gift Boxes and the BIG ITEM: IMSA Pit Crew Travel Experience. If you are not able to attend, but would like to bid on the IMSA Pit Crew Travel Experience, please email Dana Carlson at mcdcdana@gmail.com.

Charity Laps for Racers: Saturday, September 21 - Lunchtime

Charity Laps for the General Public and Volunteers: Sunday, September 22 - Afternoon

To register, make a donation of $25 or more and select ‘yes’ to the Public Charity Lap question under ‘Your Race Weekend Plans’.

Take your vehicle on the track at Summit Point!

For ANY donation at suggested minimum $25 gift (per car), participants will get about 15 minutes on the track between pace cars. Any type of vehicle (car, truck, SUV) is welcome, provided that the driver and each passenger have operational seat belts. No helmets or other safety equipment are required. No racing or passing will be allowed. 25 car limit per session. Individuals who have not pre-registered (by COB Friday, September 20) will only be allowed to sign up onsite if we are below our car limit. If you want to enter more than one car, please make a separate donation per car.

Exact details regarding the Charity Lap schedule will be emailed one week prior to the event.

Parade Lap Requirements

Drivers must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. All occupants of the vehicle must show a PCA Potomac wristband (which is different than the one from the front gate) to show they have signed the PCA waiver. All minor passengers must have a signed minor waiver (https://www.pca.org/resource/waiver-minors) which you will want to print at home and complete in advance.

Watch for the email with details a week prior to the event. DO NOT ARRIVE LATE, AS THERE ARE WAIVERS TO COMPLETE AND A SHORT INFORMATIONAL INSTRUCTION SESSION.

We also invite you to come early to watch the final races of the weekend. Modern and Vintage Porsche race cars from all over the east coast will be participating in this National event.
